Happy Birthday, Faith!

Yesterday was Faith's 3rd birthday! 

It's hard to believe she's 3 already.

And, at the same time, it's hard to believe she's only 3.

She's a smart, gorgeous, spunky little girl with more energy than the other 4 of us, combined.

 

Faith's birthday started with me waking the kids up at 6:40am. Both covered their heads with their blankets as I sang Happy Birthday to Faith. Once downstairs, and awake, Nathan told me, "Momma, why you wake us up, it dark outside!" I wanted to say, "that's exactly how I feel when you wake me up at 6am!" 

But I just smiled and let them know we had to get ready to go to MOPS. Then they were excited to be up. And they enjoyed a nice big bowl of chocolate lucky charms... lol  chocolate & marshmallows for breakfast. How can your birthday go wrong with a start like that? :)

I failed to take any other photos of Faith throughout the day. But every where she went, she wore her birthday crown and refused to take it off, except for at nap time. We went to MOPS and then joined Daddy for lunch at Chick-Fil-A. Then stopped at the store on the way home to get something for Faith's party on Saturday. Then home for birthday naps. 

After naps, we headed out to CiCis. Faith asked for pizza for her birthday dinner.

So she got pizza & cinnamon rolls - yum :)

 

Then, while the boys played air hockey, Mommy & Faith won a pink pony toy from the claw game. The toy couldn't have been more perfect for our birthday princess! She's named it Pinkie Pie and hasn't parted with it since.

Finally, to end her birthday day, we stopped at the store to let Faith pick out her birthday present from us. She wanted everything in the jewelry case... haha, but after picking out a few things we thought she'd like, she surprised us all but selecting a star necklace with one sparkly jewel in it. But it is perfect for her... on the side are engraved words like, "shine", "glow" and "sparkle". Once we headed home, I realized why she picked the star... Twilight Sparkle, her favorite My Little Pony, has a sparkly star shaped cutie mark ;)

Here's the birthday girl, newly turned 3 and just about ready for bed.
