We spent the last 3 weeks at Gramma & Grampa's house, bringing some grandchild cheer to my parents, visiting with them and helping out with some of the needs they had. Here are some photos from our visit.
Gramma got the kids new shoes. They didn't got to bed with them. But when I peeked on them before I went to bed, this is what I found. I think they love their new shoes ;)
Gramma's tupperware cabinet is always a hit!
And the kids loved playing games with Gramma after dinner some nights.
Chasing, poking or playing with Gus, the larger than life cat, was also a favorite pastime for the kids.
Oh, yes, and Gramma's house has ICE CREAM!
I don't think the kids realize our house always has ice cream, too.
Jacob hides it too well, hehe.
All the kids love their Grampa.
But Ruth has an extra special love for him!
Plus, she loves the buttons on his wheelchair ;)
Ruth loves her Gramma alot, too
Notice all the help Gramma had getting ready in the morning?
While exploring a closet one day, we found Uncle Dave's old RC Truck.
I charged the battery and we were all surprised that it still works!
It quickly became one of the kids' favorites things about Gramma & Grampa's house!
There were walks around the neighborhood.
And cookie making.
And cookie decorating (or, in Faith's case, eating the candies before they got to the cookies... ha!)
And then there were milk shakes - Gramma even let the kids make their own.
We miss you, Gramma & Grampa!
Thanks for letting us come and visit for a long while!
