Father's Day, after church, the kids encouraged Daddy to open his presents. Some of his gifts had been in our home for months - and the kids had seen them. I was impressed that they kept them secrets! Although they almost gave one away once. Nathan's poor prononciation came in handy then.... ;)
So what did the kids get their favorite Daddy??
A "DAD" photo mug to update his old one that still bears Faith's newborn photo on it.
And the new mug has this cutie on there, too :)
A new shirt, to keep Daddy handsome.
A new "geeky" clock for his office, to remind him when it's family time!
And a Tickle Monster kit, to help encourage one of Daddy's greatest talents - tickling! (and reading fun books)
Speaking of talent... Ruthie has a new one.
She's discovered how to lick her plate clean :)
Ha ha! She keeps us laughing!
Happy (now very belated) Father's Day, Daddy!
And a big Happy Father's Day to my father, too. Though I know that holiday doesn't exist where he is right now. He's praising our Father in heaven today. But down here, I'm forever thanking our father in Heaven for giving me the greatest father I could have on earth. My Dad taught me how a man should treat his wife and what traits are most important in a husband. Because of my Daddy, I married a man with integrity, humor, wisdom, patience and self-sacrificing love. Just like my Dad. I miss you, Dad. Happy Father's Day.
