Jacob carving the turkey. I tried the "dry brine method" and it turned out really well!
Gramma kicked me out of the kictchen and was responsible for most of those yummy things. Everything was very good.
Even the company :)
No pumpkin pie this year.... our friends were planning to bring that.
We brough thanksgiving dinner over to their house (will Jacob did).
But we'd have to do without the pumpkin pie.
On the otherside of the coin.... we still have 8 pie pumpkins. If we'd had the time we probably would have made a pie that day. See, we brough 8 pie pumpkins to Aunt Mary Beth's. She was going to teach us all about pumpkin drilling. And then it rained. All day. So we took the pumpkins home to drill with our friends. And then they got sick. All day. So we were left with 8 pumpkins. Jacob eventually roasted them, pureed them, and froze them for future use.
Here's Daddy with Jonathan.
And below, Daddy with Nathan in 2009.
